Every year, thousands of legal concealed carry permit holders are arrested for nonviolent infractions coupled with possibly felony possession of a firearm, because they traveled across state lines not knowing the laws in those states and whether they have reciprocity and can carry there. While this law new bill will undoubtedly make life a bit easier for concealed carry permit holders, it is still the holders responsibility to do thier research and know the laws pertaining to carrying a firearm in their state and the states they travel through and to. This does not absolve us of educating ourselves to make sure we don't fall into the misfortune of unknowingly (or knowingly) breaking laws.
