I took the DMV Concealed Carry and Wear and Carry course from Monique Clark. I had absolutely no experience with guns. The classes were very informative and detailed, and I learned so much about gun laws. The shooting range was a whole different type of experience for me. Monique is a great teacher because she has the patience to teach inexperienced students. I really appreciate the time and patience that she spent schooling me on the proper techniques for using a gun. Monique you are the best!

I found Lioness Defense by looking for firearm trainings specifically for women or led by women. I signed up for the VA Basic Concealed Handgun Permit Class as someone with little firearms experience. The classroom training was informative and helped ease my anxiety when it came to the firing part. This was a great course and I’ll definitely be back for more!

We researched and signed up for Tailored Training for Responsible Gun Ownership: private instruction. The initial 2-hour training session was awesome!! It was more worthwhile than the firearm familiarization and training required in the Air Force for us almost 20 years ago. Monique is highly skilled in her craft and communication, thorough, and personable yet professional. We enjoyed the class, learned a lot, and we feel more confident with our new and improved skills. Monique explained everything that I needed to understand the use of firearms. I was raised with guns in our household as a kid but didn't show much interest. I haven't shot a gun in over 50 years. Monique was patient and showed that she cared and we understood the safety and handling. The target practice after the written test was the highlight of the day. We all passed!!!
